Smart medicine box assistant helps elderly living alone take OTC cold meds safely with audio reminders.
Medicine Box Assistant support elderly individuals living alone in the timely and accurate administration of over-the-counter cold remedies. Cognitive challenges such as forgetfulness, literacy limitations, and poor eyesight can hinder their ability to manage medications effectively, leading to missed doses or incorrect usage. By analyzing various OTC cold remedies, user-friendly medicine box assistant that incorporates auditory prompts and alerts to ensure that these individuals take their medications as prescribed.
Carrying smart small medicines allows the elderly to receive regular medication reminders, and also pops up quantitative drugs through intelligent detection
The smart medicine box will print out the results of drug selection and judgment for the elderly to know, and will also be uploaded to the guardian's mobile app
The app not only has the function of data tracking, but also prevents forgetting. Guardians and the elderly can use the app to find smart medicine bottles
Prototype Design
Medicine containers included with the box, designed for easy carrying and convenience. These containers will hold medications recommended based on current symptoms and dispense them as needed. The small containers built-in voice notification features.
